Maybe all of you are just reading this blog and not posting. So sad. It would be nice to hear what is going on in the lives of our family. My son Scott is moving to Benton, Illinois by July 7th, 2008. His wife to be Kia lynn has been transferred there from Flagstaff, Az. His Son Anthony will also be going with them. Anthony will be 13 on July 19th, 2008. We will miss them but will be happy for them to embark on a new adventure in their lives.
Brian and I are super busy always with something. Right now we are busy planting our big garden. We are always adding to our food supply as asked of us by our Prophet. We dehydrate food to preserve it, pretty much year around. Doing veggies now. We hope you are adding extra food to your home for any emergency coming. Food is going up in price quickly and it will be good if you did this before the prices are out of your reach. Our economy is very unstable right now. Take heed.! We have friends that are not of our church that are doing this. They see the wisdom of it in view of the world condition.
We just got back from Texas and a visit with Brians parents and his aunt and uncle. We also stopped off to see some friends near Dallas.
We have been up to Colo. to help Josh and Christi build their house..and will go back in about 2 weeks. Heather graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. magna cum laude, with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She is currently working on an internship at Mesa Verde Natl. Park in So. Colo. Our son Kevin still lives in Tempe in an Apt. and still works at a pool place pulling permits division for peoples pools. Hope people keep putting in pools. We see him when we go down there. He has our old dodge van and is having fun restoring it. He is quite talented that way. Our son Scott races motor cross on weekends sometimes. He is excited to move to Illinois where there is more of that.
Yes Robin...we do need a family reunion for the Cooleys. We have not gotten together since My MOM passed away. which was Jan. 04....over 4 years ago. I still miss her greatly.
Stephanies husband has just started a new Real Estate Business. Good Luck to him. Christi's husband is now working in a COAL MINE, because construction is down and they needed employment to finance their new home.
Brian is still doing some decks but it has slowed down alot. But we never took for granted that the good ole days would last ..so we put away a good savings against times such as these. I hope all of you are equally happy and secure at this time. We love all of you and wish the best for you.
