Hello from Gilbert
Just wanted to let everyone know how we are. We bought a new house that fits our growing family better. It needs some TLC and we have been busy with home projects every weekend. The kids had to change schools this year due to the move. They are adjusting well. :) Morgan (12yrs) is starting her 2nd year in orchestra, Marcus (9yrs) is in Chandler Youth Tackle Football (Yikes!)Madelyn (9yrs) is cheerleading for the same team. Go Gators!! The first game is tomorrow AM. Maya Jayne (2) is going to her very first day of preschool on Monday. She is very excited. She is sad that she can't take her blanket with her. (I think she will be okay:) ) Where are all my cousins???? I want to see pics and posts. I love and miss you all, we need to get together soon. Love, Robin and family

vacation
Great pictures...we need more of you posting pictures. I am going to get lessons someday soon. I am watching my two little grandchildren for about 2 weeks. just pasted the first week. We have been having a lot of fun doing alot of things, from fishing, to swimming to playing at several parks, watching movies, playing at friends, going on a campout and climbing into a really deep cave and riding a pony. We saw a real live timber wolf today and I was able to pet it. It was so neat. Lot is 5 almost 6 and he was a little scared to pet it. They also had 2 owls, and two hawks. they were really neat too. They were educational birds that could not be realeased to the wild because of injuries, etc. We are still having fun. A big rain storm is coming so off of the computer i go. Levi is 3 years old.

Part of our Family Moving
Maybe all of you are just reading this blog and not posting. So sad. It would be nice to hear what is going on in the lives of our family. My son Scott is moving to Benton, Illinois by July 7th, 2008. His wife to be Kia lynn has been transferred there from Flagstaff, Az. His Son Anthony will also be going with them. Anthony will be 13 on July 19th, 2008. We will miss them but will be happy for them to embark on a new adventure in their lives.
Brian and I are super busy always with something. Right now we are busy planting our big garden. We are always adding to our food supply as asked of us by our Prophet. We dehydrate food to preserve it, pretty much year around. Doing veggies now. We hope you are adding extra food to your home for any emergency coming. Food is going up in price quickly and it will be good if you did this before the prices are out of your reach. Our economy is very unstable right now. Take heed.! We have friends that are not of our church that are doing this. They see the wisdom of it in view of the world condition.
We just got back from Texas and a visit with Brians parents and his aunt and uncle. We also stopped off to see some friends near Dallas.
We have been up to Colo. to help Josh and Christi build their house..and will go back in about 2 weeks. Heather graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. magna cum laude, with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She is currently working on an internship at Mesa Verde Natl. Park in So. Colo. Our son Kevin still lives in Tempe in an Apt. and still works at a pool place pulling permits division for peoples pools. Hope people keep putting in pools. We see him when we go down there. He has our old dodge van and is having fun restoring it. He is quite talented that way. Our son Scott races motor cross on weekends sometimes. He is excited to move to Illinois where there is more of that.
Yes Robin...we do need a family reunion for the Cooleys. We have not gotten together since My MOM passed away. which was Jan. 04....over 4 years ago. I still miss her greatly.
Stephanies husband has just started a new Real Estate Business. Good Luck to him. Christi's husband is now working in a COAL MINE, because construction is down and they needed employment to finance their new home.
Brian is still doing some decks but it has slowed down alot. But we never took for granted that the good ole days would last ..so we put away a good savings against times such as these. I hope all of you are equally happy and secure at this time. We love all of you and wish the best for you. Want any info on how to store food or water and how long it will last...etc. just call me at 928 537 3624 or email me at kerbs@whitemtns.com Love to you all, NANCY

Newsy News
Hello from Show Low again!! Yes we are all busy.BUT very important to stay in touch. Kathy that died was Lynn's sister! We have some Big GOOD news in our family. First-- We now have our Grandson Anthony back in our family. His mother finally allowed his dad to have custody of him. We are very excited. I will post some pictures someday. He is now 12 years old. and in the 6th grade. Scott is very excited as are we to have him back. Of course Anthony is tickled pink also. SECOND--Heather is graduating from College in Durange April 26th. This is a great accomplishment for her. She has paid for it almost entirely on her own. She took a few years off but got back into it two years ago and really took some hard courses and got 4.0 grade average. She is graduating in Science, particularly Biology and botony. She is doing an internship this summer at Mesa Verde, which is a indian ruin place in Colo. near where Christi lives. She will be camping out for the two months while working there. Sounds like fun. I am still asking all of you to follow the prophet and get food supply as they have asked us. The latest is to get a 3 mo. supply of what you normally would eat. This is a no brainer..when you look at the economy and world affairs right now. I URGE you to buy a little at a time..and include some water. Get at least 2 gal. of water per person per day as you can afford. You can never have enough water. Do not eat out if that is what you must do to get food and water. Harder times are coming. Please pay attention to the welfare of your family.
We will be planting our garden in two months. We are excited to have our own veggies again. We are going to make a tipi here soon. Got any suggestions for us let us know.
Love you all Aunt Nancy..
Thanks for the picture Robin. So cute.

Robin
We have also been so busy with kids and work. (You know how it goes) I just wanted to send a quick post to say we are all here and doing well. Aunt Nancy, I saw the obituary a while ago about Lynn's daughter. I was going to call my dad and never got around to it. She is in a better place. Let this be a reminder(DAD) of how careful you need to be while riding. I am looking forward to a Cooley family reunion. I am willing to help organize in anyway. Aunt Nancy, I know this can be a huge job tracking down family and getting the word out. Let me know if there is anything you would like to designate to me. I miss you all....Love Robin and family

Here in show Low
We had a great Christmas with everyone here except our son Kevin, and Scotts little boy Anthony..age 12.. We had a great time...Over all too soon. Back to real life catching up..when out of the blue we got news that Scotts ex-wife is finally , after years of fighting us and hiding Anthony from us, letting Scott have custody of Anthony...We are so happy. Anthony finally got to have his way. I guess he bugged his mom alot.. Anyway Scott picked him up last Sunday and on Martin Luther King day we got to go over and see him...had'nt seen him for almost 3 years..or talked to him. Such a miracle has occurred here. Our prayers have been answered. Maybe someday I will learn to post some pictures. Some more news...oour Dear friend died last Sat. and we had the funeral yesterday. She was Kathi Webb...49 yrs. old. She is the daughter of Jeanne Hunsaker and Lynn Hunsakers sister. She was in a motorcycle accident and in a coma for 14 mo. She could blink to answer no to us and kind of smile...but could never get any better ..She was on a feeding tube. It is very sad..but now she is with heavenly Father.. You can send condolences to the Hunsakers. I saw Aunt Emma at the gravesite and she is doing great. She is 95 years now as of Nov. 15...Same age as my mom when she died. almost exactly.
I miss seeing and reading all of your posts. WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU??
Love to you all.
Nancy
