older posts

Hey all of you out there...do not forget to click on older posts...all of the older ones are still on the blog..but on other pages. The pictures are still on there if you have not seen them. We are organizing our house and hauling out everything that we do not need...to make room for Christi and her family, and Heather..and their DAD for Christmas. We might even have Scott, who lives in Flagstaff now come and join us for some of the time. Christmas is coming fast and I have plenty to do to get ready still...Alot of baking to do and decorating to do. Brian is going to the Valley tomorrow and will be gone all week working on a deck..so I will be here by myself..keeping the animals fed and the fire going..along with everything else. We had our first snow this weekend. I love the snow...but will not drive in it..so if it snows more I will be staying home and getting more done..Just a heads up.. WE WILL BE HAVING A COOLEY GET TOGETHER SOMETIME IN THE SPRING...DOWN IN THE VALLEY. We want you all to come ..we have not been altogether since Grandma Cooley died.
We have some neat pictures to post but must wait to learn..Brian is too busy to show me..so I will wait for my savvy friend to teach me.

Brians BIRTHDAY IS TODAY...HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN. HE IS ##$%&^^(@#! years old. He is quickly catching up with me. We had a great day.
Love to you all.

Hi Everybody!!! Yes it is I, Christi, and I am posting, and my mom didn't even have to talk me into to it. Surprise MOM!!! Just kidding mom, I love you. Just like everyone else, we are busy busy all the time. Between building our house, Josh's hunts, new baby on the way, church, and family, it is hard to find time to do much else, and oh is there so much more I would love to do. We are blessed to say the least and we hope that all of you are doing good too.
I am going to attempt to send some pictures with this posting. If I am successful, then they will be of our house ( call it what you want, it doesn't resemble a house much), our boys wearing their beloved souvenier shirts brought all the way from New York by Grandma Kerbs, and etc. Love ya all, until next time...

Be prepared NOW

I do not know if anyone is reading this blog...Too bad if they are not...Everyone is too busy to communicate with the family except for a few. Those reading will be in the know. Because of some research and some friends with friends in High places..and what is going on with our economy, banks, mortgage companies, stock market...and the church putting out a special brochure telling us to get a 3 mo. supply of food that we normally use...and rotate it...and then get the 1 year long term storage...ie. wheat, grains, beans, milk, sugar or honey..salt and WATER...and fuel if possible...and get out of DEBT, I am too WARNING YOU..something is up major..and if you want the proof you can call me, or you can put your head in the sand and say..hasn't ever happened yet, so I will just not worry just yet. Things could never get that bad yet. WRONG.
I am telling you...GET YOUR FOOD AND WATER>>AND GET OUT OF DEBT...NOW. Love you all and pray you will heed this warning.

Eastern Trip

Dear Family, I just went on a trip very unexpectantly to the East Coast. We ( my Friend Andrea and her two daughters and me) flew into New Hampshire and drove to Vermont..visited the birthplace of Joseph Smith. It was awesome, real nice memorial there...Then we drove to Palmyra, N.Y. and got to go into the sacred grove, where Joseph Smiths prayer was answered, very special. We have some really great pictures that I will get posted soon. We also visited Hill Cumorah , the temple there and the Smith family old homesites. A dream of mine..Then off we drove to the canadian side for Niagra Falls..It was so awesome..I was amazed at the immesity of it all. It was really neat there. Then we drove to New Jersey and stayed with a cousin of Andreas and rode the bus over to New York City for 2 days...We saw many sights..but the best was going to a Broadway play "Les Miserables" and seeing the statue of liberty and the WTC memorial or "ground Zero" We then drove back to New Hampshire and flew back home. Glad to be back ...was very tired.. Sleeping with my friend that snored more and louder than Brian. I have now fulfilled some dreams that I had...To see Niagra Falls, Go on an Alaskan cruise, and see some of the church historical sites.... All that is left is Nauvoo, Carthage jail, and adam-on-diahman..Pictures will be on here soon. Brian stayed home to make money and watch our home. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have gone.
P.S. the reunion was alot of fun and we had alot of the family there. Everyone but Betty was there.Love to you all, Nancy Kerbs

Ross called me to say happy birthday while I was
standing in the middle of thousands of people getting
ready to watch the Disney Parade @ Magic Kingdom.
He said it sounded like I was PARTYING!----Guess I
was, HaHa. I'll post some pics as soon as I get enough
energy back. Can't party like I used to!!!!!!

Hello, I tried to post this video on the site but couldn't...so we put a link to you. It is really cool video, very inspiring...click and watch..let me know what you think. Love to you, Nancy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsRw6-w53FU
Thanks for the Birthday wish!...Happy Mothers Day to all of you. I hope your day is awesome...mine is..Brian fixed me two meals...one was the 5 trout we caught on Sat. We had fun in Greer catching them at River Resevoir.
Another suggestion to all the family....please build on your food storage...buy a little extra each time you go to the store...if you have your basics then get the things you normally eat. The church has come out with a new directive...get 90 days of the food that you normally eat, 90 days of water, 90 days of cash on hand... then have a years supply of the basics...which is wheat, pwd. milk, honey or sugar, and salt..I suggest honey...it is way more nutritious..By the way honey may be getting hard to get...the bees world wide are having a hard time returning to their hives..several reasons they speculate...it is pesticides or cell phones messing up their tracking system. Please, please get the food and water...this is what we are asked to do...obedience is a virtue.
Have a great week, I still do not know how to post pictures, and Brian is too busy to show me, oh well... I am going to try to post a cool thing from youtube.
Love to all of you. Love , Nancy

old posts

Hello again from Nancy,
Be sure those of you that are new to our family blog...to check out the older posts at the bottom..because each page holds only a few and the others drop onto the older posts status.
Stopped to see Steve and Vickie on our way back from Colo. We had to drop off a new old car for Heather and see Josh and Christi, who just celebrated their 8th anniv. I got to watch the two little boys, Lot and Levi while they went to Pagosa Springs. I burned up a whole video tape just on them in 3 days. Josh's Birthday was also Apr. 28th so we had a party for him also. I sure do love to see those boys. Christi is having another baby in Sept. Next monday she will know whether is is a boy or girl. Exciting times. Keep those grandkids coming.
Anyway, back to our visit to Steve again...Brian had to measure their deck for them because he is going to replace the front one and build a new one for their back yard. It will be out of Geo Deck so Vickie does not have to paint and maintain it anymore. We had a good visit. Steve made 2 CD's for me, of music from back in the 50's etc. We listened to them on the way home. THANKS STEVE..they were fun..
Stephanie we are glad you are about ready to give us another niece..Yeah!!!
I am researching out all about a health retreat that I want to develop up here.
Alot of work. We will be using alot of the different health care professionals from up here. Maybe I can get Heather here to help with it later after she graduates. One more year. Oh by the way if you have not already donated $$$$ for Heathers ...engineers without Borders program that she is participating in..do it real soon. She is going to Ecuador this summer to help put a water system into several small villages..because they have to haul water from a river and the water is not too safe and babies are dying from the water. They have found a spring and will build a pipe system from it to the villages and to the houses. These people do not even have electricity or septic system. They just dig holes and go potty. Real Challenge for her. You can go online to www.fortlewis.edu then choose Community and Culture and then Engineers without Borders. Talk to you all later.!! Nancy

Hello All,

Speaking of Ross, he stopped by my house for a short visit today on his way back to Show low.
It was great to see him. I haven't seen him since the family reunion.
He is looking well (for a man of his years). If Sherri won't tell his age neither will I.

He is way busier than I would like to be, spending his B-Day on the road.

We will be spending my B-Day in Orlando Fla. this year. Going to see a Blue Man Concert.
And of course Disney World, Universal Studios and all there is to see.

I think it will be one of those vacations where you come home more tired than when you left, but it will nice to get away providing we can find a temporary care giver for Grandma. The one we had lined up, up and moved to New Mexico.

Anyway, Got to go to work now. Stayed home to see Ross.

Love you all,
Steve

It is sooo fun to see the pictures that you posted Jessica! I will learn too, soon,. because I have some awesome pictures to post. I got to stop off and see Steve on Tues. this week..hadn't been there for some time. We had a nice visit...such a shame that we live so close and hardly ever see each other. He had to blow my tire up so I could make it home. He sure has built a real nice garage onto his house. They have Vicki's grandmother living with them now, What a job, My hat is off to them..That is the way it should be.
Love to you all until the next post. Thanks for the neat pictures J. Love Nancy

Family togetherness

Dear Family,

I can feel my mother Cooley and your Grandmother Cooley urging us on, to keep in touch. Life is very busy, but this is a priority for our family. I do not know how to add a picture yet, and Brian has been so busy with his deck jobs that he has not taken the time to learn, or to teach me. I am in charge of all of the homemaking enrichment activities in our ward and this Thurs. we are having a real large activitiy. Also we had a really great program that we called "Come unto Christ" (the experience) WE combined 2 wards Relief Society and all of the youth. It was so well attended and loved ( a life changing experience) that both of our bishops asked us to repeat it again this Friday for all of the priesthood. So we are setting up for it this Thurs. morn. also. I know that our Heavenly Father loves all of us and is very concerned about our lives and what we do with our time and our families. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that if we will come unto Him and trust in Him, he will bless us and be our advocate with our Father in Heaven. I know He has suffered for our sins, and sorrows, sicknesses, and all of our afflictions..he knows our pains, He has experienced them and we will not have to suffer if we repent and follow Him. I Love Him.
Thank you Jessica for your diligence in posting and keeping us updated. I know most everyone is reading these postings that are listed as registered. Encourage your sister Stephanie to post. We want to see her children and what she is doing to prepare for this new little baby coming in May. All of you that live in the valley, GO TO THE EASTER PAGENT..HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF YOU!!!
Love, Aunt Nancy and Sister Nancy

Spring Break

Last week Trevor had spring break. We took the kids to the AZ Science Center...they have lots of cool displays. We watched a cow's eye being dissected and went inside the planetarium to learn about our moon, and went on a roller coaster ride through the stars! We also went to our new movie theater on it's opening day to see TMNT(teenage mutant ninja turtles). This week it's back to the normal school/work routine and getting ready for Easter.

Need more postings

Hey all of you...this only works if we all take time to post and keep us all up to date on each...come on Stephen, Sheri, Sophie, Christi, Stephanie
It is fun to click on and see and read about your family.
Brian is very busy and backed up with decl jobs..He is in great demand. He needs to be about 4 people so he can do more at a time.
We just got thru putting on for two different wards..a program called "Come unto Christ" The Experience.... The two bishops were so impressed that he asked us to repeat it in two weeks for the priesthood holders and others that did not experience it. It was the life of Christ experienced by al l of our senses except sight. Not too many dry eyes after it.
As usual I am researching out health things everyday..I am becoming smarter each day. Ther is no need for anyone to be sick..Just like Grandma Cooley said. We are what we eat, take and get rid of.
Have a great spring.
Love Aunt Nancy and Sister Nancy

Jessica...it is neat to hear about what you are doing...even though I see you every once in a while...I did not know all about the activities you guys are doing...Married for 7 years..I can hardly believe it. ..I think Christi has been married for 8 years this April..Lot will be 5 in September..Levi will be 2 in July.
They will be arriving at my house this Thurs. 3-15 for 4 days..It is going to be fun..Grandpa Brian is going to take them fishing..and as many others fun things we can think. We are really excited because it will be in the 70's while they are here ....so we can have alot of fun...no more cold for awhile. Christi and Josh are going to a log cabin trade show in Colorado Springs area...Heather is back to school on Mon. she just had spring break..She studies real hard and gets top grades. She works at the resort up the mountain part time and goes to school FULL time. Not as much time to snowboard now as before. She can tell you more ..if she ever has time to. The FAMILY REUNION will be the last weekend in July this year. It will be in Heber..at a really nice place that has a kitchen etc.
So all of you plan to attend.
Love ya all, Aunt Nancy and Sister Nancy and Mom Nancy

Kerber update

Hey everyone,
Sorry...I didn't realize that it's been so long since my last post! I thought I would write a little update on what's been going on with the Kerber's...

Tony & I just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Sunday, it's so hard to believe it's been that long already!!! We enjoyed a weekend without the kids, they were spending some time with their grandparents in Dewey. While they were away we had the chance to do a lot of things we normally don't. We went out dancing on Friday night and some friends of ours taught us how to 2 step,it was so fun to learn something new! On Saturday we went to the actual movie theatre to watch "The pursuit of happyness". That afternoon we got to go horseback riding near the Superstition Mountains, it was such a nice day and a fun experience! That was the highlight of the weekend for me...but not Tony, he was terrified of being on a horse, I just laughed at him! Saturday night I watched him play in his softball game. He told me he would hit me a homerun and he did...it wasn't over the fence but he ran all the way around the bases and made it home safe! Then we ended the night with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Now for the news on the kids...
Trevor is starting coach pitch baseball at the YMCA, Tony is going to be the coach, they have their first practice in a few days. I am excited to help him as well. Tony likes to take Trevor fishing at least once a week, more when they can...he has an awesome cast! He lost his 1st tooth the other day and is doing extremely well in first grade!

Kendal will be participating in itty bitty sports which is where they are introduced to t-ball, soccer and basketball. She also had her first dance class today, she is taking a ballet/jazz/tumbling class. She looked so cute in her little tights, leotard and ballet shoes! Hopefully she will have the chance to be in a recital this summer. She will definitely be a well rounded little girl!

It has been so much fun getting them involved with different activities, I can't wait for more!

Until next time, take care!

Jessica

Nancy and her update

It sure is disappointing that not very many of our family are willing to take a few moments to post a message or pictures or whatever news there is to help keep our family in touch. Since Grandma Cooley died there has been a breakdown in the family togetherness. This family blog is to help cure this apathy problem. This is not a dangerous site ...no one will get you email address and sell it or anything like that. Come on FAMILY!!!! post up!!! Let us know what is going on in your area of the family..
We just got back from 5 days in Las Vegas..Brian had a deck job and I went along too...we had fun..staying in our timeshare resort..Ate lots of Buffets...Ross and Sheri went along to and Sheri and I found a super 75% off sale at Dillards.. We spent lots of time there. Great fun to save money.HA HA.. We are back now and ready to go to work..to finish remodel of our bathroom and the back porch. I am doing much better and that is great. Thanks to lots of zeolite. Love all of you...please let us know what you are doing. Grandsons coming in March. Yea!

Help

How do you post pics?

Finally

I'm sorry, things have been very busy at our house.(I'm sure you all know how it is.) Now That the holiday's are over, I have more time. I wasn't able to come to The Cooley Thanksgiving this year: I was in Texas with Michael's family. My children are all getting so big. As soon as I figure out how to post video and pics I will put them up. (have to ask dad Cooley) Morgan is 10, Madelyn and Marcus are 7 and our new little bundle just turned 6 mo. old. Morgan and Marcus are into softball and baseball. Madelyn is into Girl Scouts. The cookie sale is on right now, and she has been a cookie selling fool. The kids have been doing well in school, and love spoiling their little sister. Maya is into chewing and slobering on anything she can fit in her mouth:) She just started sitting up, and is rocking on her hands and knees ready to crawl. As for Michael and I, we are alive and well. Busy with the kids. Michael works for a network company as a Network Engineer. He has been with his company for about 8 yrs now. He loves his job. I quit working at the hospital as an X-ray Tech in May '06. I have been home with the kids. I am getting a little stir crazy at home, but I try to keep busy. I might go back to work a day here and there just to keep up with the digital technology. My Hospital is cutting edge for valley. My department is now paperless. Everything is ordered online. It's hard to believe how much things have changed since I graduated from X-ray school. We are living in Chandler now. When Michael and I got married we sold my house in Mesa and moved into Michaels. We are hoping to get into a little bigger house soon, but with the real estate market on the rise, it's so expensive to get what we want, so we'll stay put for now. Hope everything is well with all my family. I miss you--Love Robin, Michael, Morgan, Madelyn, Marcus and Maya
